Well a little background is this woman killed her "boyfriend" in a matter that was really gruesome. She has changed her story so many time that no one is sure what story is the correct one. First it was that two people came into his home and tortured him and made her kill him. Another was him being abusive to her and she "snapped" and could not take it another. When you look at her interviews and her testimonies even the 19 minute closing testimony; it seemed to me that she had no type of emotion at all.
She is so willingly to do interviews but somehow always manages to flip everything about her. What he did to her, how he treated her, how he wouldn't leave her alone... She seems to me more distraught about people accusing her and giving attitude back then to seem like she is sorry about what she did.
I truly believe this woman only cares about herself, she needs to be in the spot light and in order to do that she is making herself to be the "victim" and not caring about the actual Victim. I'm sorry but I don't understand after viewing the evidence and the way she has acted in court (not interviews) how the jury cannot come to a judgement of life or death. I understand, no one wants to send someone to their death, morally that is wrong. We are not the judges to execute anyone. Seriously though if we read the Torah, Bible and Quran does it not state that we can punish someone with a punishment that fits the crime that they have committed.
To me it seems that the death penalty does seem like a fitting punishment, but that just means MY taxes will have her in some type of "comfort" on death row. It will take a decade at LEAST for her to meet her day of human punishment. That means she will have the right to appeal her cause multiple times and have a chance to have the sentencing be overturned. I'm sorry but I am one that feels that there is enough evidence that a person (that is evil) does not deserves to have opportunities to appeal. To be living off my taxes for years until she meets her maker. Of course how the death penalty should be changed is an entirely DIFFERENT post that i might put up...
My point about this woman is the media should STOP giving her what she wants. ATTENTION!! How about instead they should focus on the VICTIM. Make shows showing him and his family, the accomplishments that he made. I'm sure if they stop giving her the publicity she craves we will most likely see the true nasty side of the person that she is.
